Monaco have only participated 24 times in the Eurovision Song Contest. Their first and only win so far is Un banc, un arbre, une rue by the French singer Séverine. The country didn't participate from 1980 to 2003, returning at the 2004 semifinal and failing to qualify for three years in a row.

Monaco debuted in 1959, where they scored just one point, and therefore coming last place. This isn't the only time this happened, as Lithuania scored absolutely nothing on their debut.
