Lyrics[]
Vingt ans... vingt ans...
Gentleman, you who have the experience of things in life
Gentleman, you who have survived your life
Let us now have our turn to live too
Oh, you who have remade the world and the time like us
Let us dream, dream now
Leave us the illusions of our twenties
Madam, you who have memories of the roses of life
Madam, you who have been so beautiful
Let us have our turn to love and live too
Oh, you who in the past only dreamt about waltzes and springs
Let us dance, dance now
Leave us the illusions of our twenties
Leave us the illusions of our twenties
Twenties... twenties...

Trivia[]
- In the live version, there is a minor difference in the lyrics compared to the studio version. On the sixth line, they sing "Laissez-nous rêver, rêver à présent" instead of "Laissez-nous rêver, rêver maintenant" (same meaning). The live version also features an extended "la la la" part during the intro.
- A portion of the song was featured in the Eurovision Book of Records' "Most La's" video in 2014. As they sang a "la la la" part at the start of their performance, two tombstone graphics (one on either side) rose up from the stage reading "La. La. La La La. La La", as the narrator described this vocal as "the funeral 'la's'".
