Bob Martin was a Russian-Austrian singer who represented his home country on its debut in the 1957 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Wohin, kleines Pony?, which finished in last place with 3 points.
However, he was not the first person from his country to participate in the contest as his fellow countryman Freddy Quinn did so for Germany the previous year.
